iSchools Research Grants - Deadline Approaching


The iSchools organization maintains a research fund to benefit its members. This funding opportunity supports groundbreaking, innovative research by early-career faculty and PhD students exploring the evolving intersection of information science and emerging research methodologies in a rapidly changing digital landscape. We seek proposals with the potential for significant impact and meaningful contributions to these fields. 


The submission deadline is 31 July 2026.


Indiana University Bloomington

Applicants should be affiliated with a member iSchool and be either PhD students or early career researchers (within eight years of completing their dissertation). Projects involving international collaboration will be given preference.


The topic for 2026 is: "Information Literacies, Authenticity and Use" .  

As a general rule, funding will not exceed one year. Depending on the nature of the project, the amount of funding per application may vary, up to a maximum of $4,500 USD.
