What is needed now and for the foreseeable future is attention to the security, safety, and trust dimensions that emerge when people interact with digital technologies. Bowers College of Computing and Information Science (Bowers) invites applications for full-time, long-term, open-rank Teaching Professor positions at Cornell’s Ithaca campus. Teaching faculty hired in these positions will be full-time members of the IS Department; a typical full-time (100%) load for a Teaching Professor in IS is two courses per semester. Based on candidate qualifications and experience, the initial appointment will be either a three-year (Assistant Teaching Professor) or five-year (Associate or Full Teaching Professor) appointment. This is a non-tenured professional teaching track with the potential for growth, the expectation of renewal, and eventual promotion for Teaching Professors.
