The School of Information at the University of South Florida seeks to fill a temporary nine-month, full-time, non-tenure-earning, Visiting Assistant Professor of Instruction position beginning August 7, 2024. This is a visiting position with the possible extension for a second and/or third year.
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in Information Science or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience that meet national and/or regional accreditation standards is required. Candidates who are currently enrolled in Information Science or related doctoral programs are eligible to apply.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses;
Experience teaching online; and
Experience working in libraries or other information institutions.
