Prospective doctoral students are invited to learn about the PhD program at the UBC School of Information and receive guidance on preparing a successful application.


The University of British Columbia School of Information invites prospective students to attend an upcoming PhD Program Information Session.

Hosted by the PhD Program Chair and Educational Services Manager, the session will provide a general overview of UBC’s PhD program in Library, Archival and Information Studies, along with practical advice for preparing a successful application.

The four-year funded program combines coursework with focused independent study and research. Students have access to faculty expertise and research opportunities within a comprehensive, research-intensive university.
