The project DISCOBOT's (An engaging discussion robot for mental health preservation) objective is to develop AI-based dialogue generation methods based on personal narratives to foster long-term engagement with a social robot. The person recruited will carry out research at the Lab-STICC within the COMMEDIA and RAMBO teams, which are jointly leading this project. Applicants must have spent at least 18 months out of France between 1 May 2020 and the start of the project, and must have defended their PhD thesis less than 5 years ago. The ideal candidate holds a PhD in computer science in the field of conversational agents or dialogue planning.
