About

Information Studies at the University of Glasgow offers an exciting programme of research and teaching on the creation, management, and use of information in the digital age. Our areas of speciality are museums, archives, libraries, Digital Humanities, and Information Management (including digital curation, video games, information visualisation and retrieval). Our rich environment for practice-based teaching and research is immersed in heritage. And provides first-hand experience in ways that knowledge has been created, preserved, and communicated from the past to the digital age. Our facilities include:
- the world-class collections of the Hunterian Museum
- the University of Glasgow's Archives and Special Collections
- the Museums and Libraries of the City of Glasgow.
