Graduate School of Humanities
The Graduate School of Humanities provides cutting edge graduate education that is strongly grounded in ongoing research. We offer a broad range of Master’s programmes in the Humanities, ranging from archaeology to museum studies to new media. The Graduate School is also responsible for organising doctoral studies in various humanities disciplines.
The Graduate School of Humanities of the University of Amsterdam is part of a research university with an outstanding reputation. The Faculty of Humanities is ranked as one of the best of its kind in the Netherlands and scores highly in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and QS World University Rankings. Over a thousand students from more than 50 different countries start with a master's or PhD programme in the Graduate School each year.
