At the University of Arizona College of Information Science, we explore the intersection of people, data and technology through transformative and interdisciplinary research, teaching and service.

The College of Information Science (InfoSci), which includes the former College of Applied Science and Technology, offers innovation and excellence in the wide range of information sciences while preparing students to lead in an era shaped by digital innovation and security.

With seven undergraduate degrees and five graduate degrees, as well as certificates and minors, our students are trained to become changemakers in the varied fields of information science, including artificial intelligence, information technology and management, library science, cybersecurity, data science and visualization, game design and development, emerging technologies, esports, computational arts, extended and virtual reality, human-computer interaction and more.

Our world-class faculty conduct interdisciplinary research in archival studies, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, biodiversity informatics, data management and curation, computer vision, computer-mediated communication and learning, natural language processing, social networking, human-computer interfaces, dark networks, computational art and creation, library sciences, cybersecurity and beyond.
