Hiroyoshi Ito is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tsukuba's Center for Artificial Intelligence Science and the Faculty of Library, Information and Media Science. He obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Tsukuba in March 2020. His research focuses on Human-in-the-Loop machine learning, graph data mining, and time-series data analysis.

Houqiang Yu is an Associate Professor at the Sun Yat-sen University, School of Information Management. He is PhD co-supervised by Wuhan University and UNC CHAPEL HILL by 2017. His research uses a variety of online data sources to track the dissemination and impact of scholarly outputs. He is dedicated to using data science methods for exploring the multidimensional values of academic papers beyond citations.
