About the Event
The 8th BAL-ADRIA Summer School in Digital Humanities will take place at Linnaeus University in Kalmar, Sweden, from 14 to 18 June 2027. For the first time hosted in Sweden, the summer school will bring together researchers, doctoral students, educators and professionals from across Europe to explore new approaches to humanities and cultural heritage research through digital methods and technologies.
The BAL-ADRIA Summer School in Digital Humanities is an international academic initiative dedicated to advancing knowledge, skills and collaboration in the application of digital methods to humanities and cultural heritage research. Established in 2019 through an initiative involving the iInstitute at Linnaeus University and the University of Zadar, BAL-ADRIA has developed into a meeting point for researchers, students and professionals interested in the opportunities and challenges of digital transformation in the humanities.
