About

Training the Information Professionals of Tomorrow

The ever-increasing pace of technological innovation requires a more information-savvy workforce that understands not only the intricacies of technology and data, but how to apply that knowledge.

We offer 9 academic programs along with a number of certificates. Our students are trained to become specialists in information management, data analysis, artificial intelligence, librarianship, social media marketing, and much more. We are preparing our graduates across disciplines to be doers, thinkers, solvers, and game-changers.

The School of Information is a multidisciplinary department where faculty focus on the many aspects of information and its impact on society, using a variety of methodologies. Faculty focused on computational science and management information systems work side-by-side with those focused on issues of information behavior, and societal change.
