Drexel iSchool Dean Commits to Funding ‘Governor’s School’

David Fenske, dean of Drexel's College of Information Science and Technology, known as the iSchool, yesterday said the university is planning to continue the program as the Drexel University Computing Academy, cosponsored by his college and the computer science department of the College of Engineering.

"It really is essential to the economic development of the state," he said.

University of Washington’s Batya Friedman on New Hampshire Public Radio’s Word of Mouth

Friedman, a professor in the Information School, talks about her work with a project she started last fall, "Information for an International System of Justice: Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda." The project has so far conducted 49 in-depth interviews with the judges, prosecutors, defense counsel, administrators, interpreters, investigators, jailers, psychologist and others associated with the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR).
