Senior Federal Scientist to Head Michigan’s Joint Master of Health Informatics Degree

Charles Friedman

Charles Friedman, a top federal scientific officer in the Department of Health and Human Services, will head the new joint master’s program in health informatics offered by the University of Michigan School of Public Health (SPH) and School of Information (SI). This iSchool member is the first public institution of higher education in Michigan to offer a graduate program in health informatics and one of the first schools in the nation to focus specifically on consumer health informatics.
