Royal School of Library and Information Science
The Royal School of Library and Information Science (RSLIS), Denmark, is a university institution for development, education and research to the highest scientific level in the field of Library and Information Science
(LIS). The Royal School is under the jurisdiction of the Danish Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
The educational programs of RSLIS rank from undergraduate to Ph.D.-studies and are aimed at a variety of jobs in public libraries, research libraries, public administration, organizations and private companies. The Schools' graduates are very much in demand, and their capacity for fulfilling vital functions within the emerging knowledge society is increasingly recognized.
