Conference Transportation
Transportation to and from the hotels to the Conference Center will be provided. In addition to the conference-specific transportation, there are two additional types of transportation within the UCLA/Westwood campus that is free and available throughout various parts of the campus during peak conference hours. We suggest that you download a map and make note of the hours of operation, to best utilize these free resources.
UCLA Campus Express Shuttle Service
The Campus Express shuttle incorporates the use of buses that are clean, wheelchair accessible and well-equipped with air-conditioning and comfortable seating. The bus travels in a counter-clockwise direction providing round-trip service from: Weyburn Terrace and Lot 36 in the southwest corner of campus, through Westwood and the University to Macgowan Hall turnaround in the northeast region of campus.
Schedule:Monday to Friday (excluding Holidays)
7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Stops approximately every 8 - 10 minutes
Reduced Hours: Summer, Winter, & Spring Breaks: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Wilshire Center shuttle travels in a counter-clockwise direction providing round-trip service from: Wilshire Center through Westwood Village, up Hilgard Avenue to Parking Structure 2 between Manning Avenue and Westholme Avenue.
Schedule:Monday to Friday (excluding Holidays)
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Stops approximately every 8-10 minutes
The Northwest Campus shuttle travels in a counter-clockwise direction providing round-trip van service across the northern region of campus traveling on Charles Young Drive between: Macgowan Hall, Kreiger (Bellagio) Child Care Center, Southern Regional Library and Hedrick Hall.Schedule:Monday to Friday (excluding Holidays)
11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Stops at MacGowan Hall at every half hour mark

UCLA Evening Van Service & Walking Escort Service
The Evening Van Service provides a safe means of transportation around campus during the evening hours. The vans provide transportation between campus buildings, on-campus housing and nearby residential areas. The service is free of charge and available to all UCLA students, staff, faculty and visitors. For added safety, the vans are driven by Community Service Officers (CSOs) who carry two-way radios, providing a direct link to the UCLA Police Department.
Van Route and Operations
There are five vans operating on one route.
- Two vans run in a clockwise direction, serving areas in the following order: Ackerman Union, the residence halls, the libraries on campus, Lot 36 and the apartments on the west side of campus.
- Two vans run in a counter-clockwise direction, serving areas in the following order: Ackerman Union, the apartments on the west side of campus, and the residence halls.
- An additional van is used for support during busy periods to accommodate more people and to maintain the efficiency of the service.
The Evening Vans will arrive at each stop approximately every 15 minutes. The entire route (from Ackerman back to Ackerman) takes approximately 40 minutes, so the Evening Vans will stop at designated areas only.The Evening Van Service is available Fall, Winter and Spring Quarters. The hours of operation are Monday through Thursday from 6 p.m. until 11 p.m.

New Non-Stop Bus Service to and from LAX to Westwood: FLYAWAY
Los Angeles World Airports in cooperation with UCLA Transportation provides daily nonstop bus service — one-way and round trip — between Westwood and LAX. The expansion of the popular FlyAway service to UCLA provides a convenient connection. This partnership helps reduce traffic congestion and cut emissions by reducing single-passenger vehicular trips to and from LAX.
- Location: Next to UCLA Parking Structure 32 on Kinross Avenue, two blocks north of Wilshire Blvd., just west of Gayley Ave.
- Schedule: Buses depart every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour from Westwood and LAX (both directions simultaneously) between 5 a.m. - 1 a.m., seven days a week
- Parking: Immediate drop-off parking only in Structure 32. Overnight parking is not allowed in the structure Monday – Thursday. Weekend overnight parking is available from 3 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Monday in Structure 32 and Lot 36 (beginning July 15) for $6 a day.
- Cost: $4 each way (Cash Only, Exact Change).
Optional airline baggage check-in available for an additional $5/person.
- From UCLA Lot 32 Parking Structure, you can take the Campus Express right into Campus.
