February 20th Update

Important Registration Update--

All payments for i Conference 2008 must be made PRIOR to the first day of the conference, February 28th. Payment cannot be made at the conference center through either credit card or cash. Thank you!

Essential Vehicle Parking Information for i Conference 2008

In order to avoid a parking citation at the UCLA Sunset Village Conference Center,
you MUST have an appropriate UCLA parking permit at all times. PLEASE read the Directions & Maps Page for detailed information. UCLA parking enforcement is extremely efficient and our specific parking information will help you avoid a citation.


Reminder of Parking at the Getty on February 29th

A reminder that advanced reservations are required to park any car or vehicle at the Getty Museum. The deadline for vehicle reservations for the i Conference Getty event was February 15th. If you have not yet made a car or vehicle reservation, please send a note immediately to Angela De Cenzo at decenzo@cse.ucla.edu and we will attempt to obtain a reservation.

When arriving at the Getty, mention that you are attending the i Schools Conference for entrance. We highly encourage everyone to use the bus transportation provided from the UCLA Conference Center to the Getty. Thank you.

THE GETTY CENTER: FRIDAY, 3 PM
i Conference 2008 will offer a very special visit to the Getty Research Institute and Museum on the afternoon of Friday, February 29th at 3:00 p.m. A reception will follow.

Because of parking restrictions and transportation needs, we need ALL possible attendees to make reservations no later than this Friday, Feb 15, including anyone who intends to drive a car to the Getty.

If you have already notified Angela that you will be attending, you do not need to send another note. If you have not and you still wish to attend, Please email Angela DeCenzo by 5PM PST this Friday, Feb 15 to reserve your space and indicate to her if you:

1) are attending, and
2) plan to park a car at the Getty.

Space will be limited to those with confirmed reservations by the deadline. We will hold some space for those who register for the conference after the deadline. More information about this special event may be found on the Special Visits/Tour page
