iConference 2012 | Conference Navigator
NOTE: Conference Navigator should not be confused with the official iConference 2012 program schedule. If you are looking for our official program schedule, click here.
Conference Navigator is an interactive tool developed by the Unviersity of Pittsburgh with funding from the National Science Foundation. Conference Navigator is a social system that allows all the iConference 2012 attendees to share their schedules and receive recommendations based on shared research interests. The system uses your schedule, the schedules of people you follow and shared tags to create a personalized list of recommended sessions tailored just for you. The usefulness of Conference Navigator recommendations for the iConference community increases as users provide more information such as sessions they want to attend, tagging interesting sessions, and creating connections with other attendees.
Conference Navigator is develped and maintained by the University of Pittsburgh. The following link to Conference Navigator is provided as a courtesy to iConference paticipants. Any questions or issues regarding its content or functionality should be directed to Peter Brusilovsky of the University of Pittsburgh.
