Junior Faculty and Postdoc Colloquium

The 2011 planning committee is pleased to announce that a Junior Faculty and Postdoc Colloquium will take place during iConference 2011. These mentoring sessions have proven extremely popular at past conferences, serving as a forum for informal dialogue, guidance, and insights for assistant professors, post-docs, or others in pre-tenure positions. The colloquium will help connect junior faculty with their peers and senior faculty within and across their research territories.

• The Junior Faculty and Postdoc Colloquium will take place on February 11, 2011, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
• Participants can sign up at registration, which is now open. There is no additional fee for taking part.
• When you register, the system will prompt you for questions; these questions will be used by the Colloquium panel to inform the program. Additional questions may be emailed directly to the Colloquium co-chairs (see below).
